MBE Question of the Day

While a man was out shopping, an attacker broke into his apartment and held his invalid mother at knifepoint. When the man
returned, the attacker threatened to kill the man’s mother unless the man robbed the local convenience store and brought the loot
to the attacker. The attacker told the man that his accomplices would be in constant observation, and that the man and his mother
would be murdered if the man notified anybody or did not return with the loot in an hour. In fact, the attacker did not have any
accomplices. The man unwillingly agreed to follow the attacker’ directives. The man went to the convenience store and demanded
all the money in the cash register. The clerk suffered a heart attack. The man emptied the cash register, walked to his apartment, and
handed over the loot to the attacker.
The man is guilty of
(A) No crime.
(B) Felony murder.
(C) Involuntary manslaughter.
(D) Robbery.
Answer to be posted tomorrow…..
