Candidates planning on sitting for the next New York bar exam finally have some concrete dates. The New York State Board of Law Examiners has now announced that the postponed July bar exam will be administered on September 9 and September 10.

There had been a great deal of confusion in the last couple of weeks about when, or even if, the next bar exam would be held. This announcement should help students who are making plans to study and take the exam.

The application period for the rescheduled examination will open at midnight May 5 and will close at 11:59 p.m. May 30. You can read more about the announcement here.
